I have taken photos most of my life, my earliest camera being a box brownie in about 1952. A few years ago I joined the camera club and got feedback (other than from family and friends) and I have found that both chastening and stimulating. I enjoy using the camera to highlight a pattern or shape from our constantly changing surroundings, in the process bringing a subject to our attention that would have gone unnoticed. I guess I prefer to find the subject rather than to compose it, but that may just be laziness!
